Dr. Kathryn Figer, DO

Dr. Kathryn Figer is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over a decade of experience caring for medically complex patients in the hospital setting. She earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, completed medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and returned to UT Austin to complete her internal medicine residency. Dr. Figer is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Throughout her career as a hospitalist, Dr. Figer developed a deep respect for evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and individualized care—principles that continue to guide her work today.

After years of practicing acute care medicine, Dr. Figer felt drawn to a more proactive, relationship-driven model of care that focuses on confidence, wellness, and quality of life. This led her to pursue advanced training in aesthetic medicine, where she combines her strong medical foundation with a thoughtful, conservative approach to aesthetic treatments.

Dr. Figer believes aesthetic medicine should enhance—not alter—natural features, and that excellent results begin with careful listening,

education, and clinical judgment. She is committed to ongoing education and works closely with experienced aesthetic professionals to ensure every treatment offered at the practice meets the highest standards of safety and efficacy.

As the medical director and owner, Dr. Figer is deeply involved in establishing protocols, overseeing care, and creating an environment where patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment decisions.

Dr. Figer lives in Fredericksburg with her husband and four young children. Outside of practicing medicine, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing piano, beekeeping, and cooking for her family.
