Emily Russ

Practice Manager, Licensed Aesthetician

Emily Russ brings more than two decades of clinical aesthetic experience to her work at Selah Skinhäus, with a steady, thoughtful approach to skin health.

Her background in patient care and clinic leadership gives her a clear understanding of the full client experience—from what happens in the treatment room to what it takes to maintain results at home. She approaches skincare with a focus on clarity, consistency, and long-term skin health.

Emily specializes in supporting and restoring the skin barrier through customized, clinically driven protocols designed around each client’s individual needs and desired outcomes. She works closely with clients to address concerns such as dryness, texture, acne, and uneven tone.

Her approach is highly personalized, recognizing that each person’s skin is influenced by factors such as lifestyle, stress, hormones, and environment. Rather than overcomplicating routines, she focuses on simplifying them—guiding clients toward a few well-chosen products and treatments that deliver meaningful, lasting results.

At the core of her work is a desire to help clients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident—not only in their skin, but in the process of caring for it.

“Come in for a facial and begin with a conversation. Sometimes it simply takes that first step—taking a moment to pause, relax, and feel cared for. From there, we can determine what makes the most sense for your skin, your goals, and your comfort level.”

Emily’s Perspective

  • Start simple. A gentle cleanser, a serum targeted to your primary concern, a moisturizer, and a well-formulated SPF can go a long way. From there, we can build thoughtfully based on what your skin actually needs.

  • There are several I consistently return to—LactoS from Noon, C-ESTA and Bioclear from Jan Marini, Phloretin CF from SkinCeuticals, and EltaMD UV Clear SPF. Each supports the skin in a different way, and the right choice depends on what your skin needs most.
